The venue is the traditional hub for the entire Metro Cruise and will feature the most classic cars of any venue over the weekend. Admission is free to all areas of the event. The Woodland Mall is back again for its second year as another main event location for the 2023 Metro Cruise. Woodland Mall will feature lots of different food options from vendor booths and food trucks. The locations are in addition to the two main event locations at Roger's Plaza and the Woodland Mall. The Metro Cruise takes place on Friday, Aug. 25 and Saturday, Aug. 26.

There are activities for all interests. There were many teens and young adults there. I loved all the comfortable chairs and sofas for grandparents scattered through out the place. I could always find a place to sit. I felt it was a safe environment. I’m very protective and could relax.

While the main site will still be Rogers Plaza, a secondary site has been added this year. The west parking lot of the Woodland Mall will now include food vendors, collector cars, live music and kids' entertainment. With previous visitor numbers reaching 250,000, organizers are expecting higher turnout with an additional location. The main event sites are at Rogers Plaza in Wyoming and Woodland Mall in Kentwood.
h Street Metro Cruise welcomes back car lovers this weekend
For the first time since 2017, the popular Dream Wheels event will be returning to Rogers Plaza, th St. SW, at 7 p.m. On Saturday with high-end, pristine and ultra-rare cars, according to the event website. The Metro Cruise will host five official sites with dozens of activities for kids and adults throughout the weekend. Activities include a climbing wall, a cornhole tournament, arts and crafts, paintball, and so much more.

A free shuttle service will be available at Rogers Plaza for those who might have trouble finding a place to park during the packed event. The Wyoming-Kentwood Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 17th annual event that kicks off Friday, Aug. 26, from 2 p.m. And continues on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 11 a.m. Great day at Craig’s Cruisers. The new trampoline park is an awesome addition.

The official times for the event are 2 p.m. On Saturday, but it isn't unusual to see classic cars cruising down 28th Street all weekend long. There will also be 25 food trucks and concessionaires, five local bands, kids activities, the Miss Metro Cruise Finale and more. Parking is available at Roger's Plaza or at Wyoming High School parking lot, and the Kent District Library - Wyoming Branch parking lot.
